My Kickstarter Account

That's messed up. I can understand the viewpoint for people waiting, but this could very well be a grab it while it's hot thing. Jane and SpaceVenture didn't wait so why should Chris have to?
And doesn't Jane only have 3 more days left tomorrow? She's reached her goal - what difference will 3 days make?

The extra funds go to making further enhancements to the game. The goal is often just a minimum to be conservative. At the moment they're trying to get a soundtrack with a live orchestra and more dialogue being able to be recorded amongst other enhancements funded. They're hoping for a 450k milestone so they're eager for it not to dry up yet.
The last few days of a Kickstarter can receive a big spike in donations for multiple reasons. I think they also have a special section on Kickstarter for projects that are about to finish.

If Tex reaches its conservative goal I hope it surpasses it so that the game can be even better.

Got it. Thanks for the explanation. I wonder how much she's gotten via Paypal? Regardless, it's only a few days. Tex shouldn't have to wait. 14 years has been long enough. :)
I do visit that "Ending Soon" section on Kickstarter to see if anyone is close to 100% and needs help (provided I like their idea.)

Yeah, it'd be good if the Tex kickstarter does PayPal later that a donation total is up somewhere like with the Larry Kickstarter so we don't have to wonder about it.

Totally agree. :D

Formal Letter of Challenge,

I hereby challenge you to an MST3K knowledge duel,

the loser shall be at a total loss. Duel shall begin at

Its likely the Tex campaign won't be able to add PayPal as an option until after reaching the initial goal, but when they can hopefully it will bring in a nice boost. With the LSL Kickstarter after they got their initial 500k and added a PayPal option they got nearly an extra 20,000 (in addition to going over their initial goal on Kickstarter by 150,000). Hope Tex can do the same if not more!

Well Sai, thanks to your guide (which was VERY well received) they should have quite a lot of their bases covered anyway!

PayPal have their fees. Usually comes out of the receiver end though, so its probably more a nicer option for the donator than the receiver. If someone sends me a payment on PayPal I don't really get all of it. Thats just my understanding of it though. There might be certain types of PayPal accounts where the whole fee thing is handled differently when being received.

Thanks :) I received some very kind feedback from wonderful Courtney

I hope that it will help out and work for many people to donate without a credit card. I also hope they had chance to edit the bits about PayPal and such to fit with whatever they feel they can manage, wouldn't want them to post it and have to back out of certain things. But all the "I hopes" is just the side effects of me being high with anticipation.

Hmm, now one answer I haven't found yet is if I can pay with 2 diff credit cards. Has anyone come across this?

it allows you to add other cards but no option of how much to each card.

Found the answer to my question in Amazon's Credit Card help section:
Unless you use Amazon.com Gift Cards and one of the payment methods above, you'll need to choose a single payment method to place your order on Amazon.com. You can't split your payment between multiple cards. This includes the Amazon Store Card and gift/pre-paid cards issued by the companies above. (VISA, MC/AMEX, etc.)

You can combine Amazon.com Gift Cards with a credit or debit card payment to complete your order. If you're interested in buying an Amazon.com Gift Card to split the payment on your merchandise order, please see our Amazon.com Gift Cards Frequently Asked Questions here:

http://www.amazon.com/help/giftcards
So, if you need to split your donation between 2 different cards, you'll have to buy an Amazon gift card for the 2nd half of the payment. Keep in mind you'll be paying for the $ amount of the card before it's actually used.
