I actually suggested the GOG promo to them like a week ago (although I suggested a free game rather than a sale), and lo and behold here it is. It's great that they've been so responsive to people. It seems like GOG is bringing in a whole lot of smaller backers, which is exactly what we need at this transitional stage in the campaign.

I admit, I had my doubts about announcing the Kickstarter ahead of time. I thought it would hurt the media coverage they got when it actually came out. As it turns out, kickstarter burnout might have prevented that anyway, so it's good they got the word out when sites were still reporting on it.

It also gave the first day a huge boost, which really boosted morale. $450,000 is a big mountain to climb, but thanks to everyone saving up all month and pushing really hard out of the gate, that climb seems a lot smaller.

It just keeps getting better and better. If we can hit $297,000 before the end of the day, we will make it to 66%. If we keep going at this rate for the rest of the project, we'll hit well above target at around 150%.

Pretty awesome. We must have had a big ledge overnight, the number of pledges as compared to the previous few days isn't really all that much more. But it looks like we could hit the 10/11,000 mark for today.

And 66% is the new magic number. Almost time to make it the 70% club.

Yep late last night (US) and stupidly late/early morning (UK) one of the 5K backers went up to the 10K tier Roll on 300K

Actually it seems that someone who already gave 10k just switched reward tiers. The amount didn't actually go up.
