"Tex Murphy - Project Fedora" is now live on Kickstarter.

It may just be a matter of timing, I too am pondering how we didn't break our goal in 1 day (I pledged more to this game than all other KS campaigns combined!).

So either most Tex fans moved on with their lives (remember, 18 years passed since UAKM, 14 since Overseer), or the people who pledged for OTHER games want to see an actual product before pledging more to KS...

I firmly believe that if instead of the promo video for may 15th KS they would have went live a month earlier we would be in better shape... but probably we wouldn't have all them cool videos...

Also, they FINALLY put a banner in the front page so hopefully the DLC/DRM/DDT issues are a thing of the past.

I think they need to clear up the content of the tiers a bit (and have some visualization as to what everyone gets).

If you claim to be on top of it, which I assume that is what you're trying to project, then you'd know that democracies are an egalitarian form of government in which all the citizens of a nation together determine public policy.

Does anyone want to determine public policy?

There will be some days where we hit target and some where we don't. This is one but it's no big deal as we didn't miss by much. I still predict a surge at the end that will outweigh the slow days.

I supported one successful project on Kickstarter that, on some days, actually ended lower than the day before, but it still hit target.

I still have every faith.

Yeah guys let's keep the faith so to speak and not lose hope, we're almost 60% funded so we got basically just under 3 weeks to do the rest. Come on we can do that right? :)

very nice of you to look that part up at wikipedia. also from that page: Elements considered essential to democracy include freedom of political expression, freedom of speech...

but before we got too far into politics (and to keep rockefeller entertained), let`s remember why it all started:
1) Bafitis posted quite an expressive post, which i found a bit hysterical
2) as nobody else was acting that way on this board, i asked Bafitis to stop whining (and i didn`t mean something malicious by that; maybe it`s not that obvious, but that phrase was just a rude version of "calm down, keep it cool, the fascists haven`t landed yet")
3) Bafitis posted "I'm sorry that you can't see the difference" - what i see there is a statement: "you`re dumb and i`m better than you" ("dumb", because i can`t see the difference and "better", because Bafitis can)
4) we exchange the right to freedom of speech

that`s what happened. sorry for offtop and correct me if i`m wrong

p.s.: and back on track - can someone confirm, that DDT is for dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane?

That's it... I'm going back to GameSpot...

-Cub. =o)
Wait a minute? I leave for five seconds, and now I'm completely lost. It's like watching the season premier of a show, then getting back to it 8 episodes later and going: "What the...?!"
We've come for your Daughter, Chuck!
where have you been?
i thought Cub`s videos kind of destroy your desire to speak

It may just be timing, remember that a lot of people get paid at the end of the month and funds tend to be tighter towards then. So that would make more sense of the slow days. Keep the faith and expect a surge in pledges around the end of next week $$$$

Our goal to hit that "minimum average" today would be hitting $270,500 by midnight eastern.

I hope the Memorial Day weekend in the US doesn't slow us down too much.

Regardless, by missing target yesterday we have $1,400 we have to make up at the end of this campaign. That's not too bad, as long as that number doesn't grow a lot everyday.
We could do a "$500.00 per glass" lemonade stand.......I mean, you know, it COULD be the best darn lemonade you've ever tasted.

As long as we institute a strict no refunds policy.
