The Walking Dead...

Just had a Walking Dead marathon in preparation for the up coming season. Interested in knowing how the group will deal with the last big event. Lot of controversy goin on! I really want to know what happened to the father/son couple that saved Ricks life in episode one. It will be interesting to see if Rick has given up on them in light of recent events. Also wondering about the rednecks brother. Either way I am definitely looking forward to next season!

I saw a little preview during Hell on Wheels, and i could have sworn Ottis was in the doorway.

Ooh, I think she'll be all right...for now.
yeah people only die when they get written out of the series.

Yeah, I think she'll be fine. Although, the whole "getting in the car to find Rick" thing seemed a bit contrived to me. I mean he'd been gone, what, 15 minutes and all of a sudden she decides she has to go and get him. Otherwise I thought it was a pretty good episode.
Yea it was a good episode.

Guess I was wrong. Not Otis.

God I hated those two guys.
The fact that the guy peed on the floor just tells you what kind of people they are.

The tension in the room was spilling out of the TV =P
Matt
gee that shane I just can't stand him.

Those two guys in the bar would have been another 2 Shanes.

Guaranteed, Shane will die before the end or be turned.
Matt
I must say I really expected those guys in the Bar to be a problem, but Rick took care of business, once again... The chubby guy should have gotten the drop on him though, I can't believe he was that slow...

As for Hershel, I think he was pleased with what Rick did, he know just as Rick did that they were bad new... It's their buddies outside that I'm interested to see how that plays out...

The commercials for scenes for the next episode already tell us that Lori will be okay, so I'm not worried about her and the accident... I think it will be Shane that goes to get her and then they'll finally have the discussion that's been boiling...

Not sure what to make of Daryl at this point... I think he is fortifying their perimeter right now... Not sure what this whole Sophia business is going to do to him though...

Dale wants to kill Shane or at least have him leave... But I think Shane is gonna end up doing something to Dale, maybe an accident of some kind... Dale is trying to poison the group against Shane, which is he doing an okay job of right now, which is going to piss Shane off and make him react...

Either way, this should end up a really good Season... I think we've 4 or 5 Episodes to go...

Anyone think they will leave the Farm??? Just asking, it was a topic on The Talking Dead, the talk show that comes on after the show... So I thought I'd ask you all...

Shane is what the world has made him to be. So far, he has had to make the most difficult decisions on the show. He simply does what he needs to do to keep those close to him alive. The only real problem with him is his presentation and probably his propensity to be a bit stubborn when it comes to discussing problems. Other than that, the group would have been a hellova lot worse without him. Although I still think Daryl is the most capable; being the one that grew up with hunting experience and the weapons he has. I love this show.

I have to disagree... I didn't see Shane step up and kill Sophia... Shane does whatever is best for him and only him... If he had been a true Man, he would have sacrificed himself instead of Otis or figured out a way for both to make it... Shane was the wounded one, not Otis... Shane had messed up his ankle, Otis was only winded...
He goes on and on about loving Lori, but didn't hesitate a moment to jump on Andrea the moment the chance came, yeah that's true love there... At least Lori was under the impression that Rick was dead when she committed her infidelity... And Lori hasn't wavered once since Rick's been back...

I will agree that he comes off abrupt whenever he tries to make his opinion on matters...

And to get into Rick's mind a bit, I think he was really going to leave Shane behind until he stared down at those 2 Police Officers that they killed when they first got there... If they hadn't laid those 2 side by side like that I don't think Rick was gonna go back for him... And he shouldn't have in my opinion... Because according to scenes shown for the next episode, Shane and Andrea are plotting to remove him has head of the group...

If you ask me, Shane and Andrea both belong with those punks in the pickup that left the one kid and were shooting at Rick, Glenn, and Hershel... Because the both of them are selfish and only care about themselves and surviving, they could careless if those around them drop off or not, as long as they survive...

Shane has turned into what he is because Rick came back... I think he was probably fine up there in the hills, where he was in control and it was his way or the highway... He can try and blame Rick for bringing the Walkers to the hills where they were camped, but I don't think that will fly now that they've seen that the Walkers move like herds, like we did on the highway... It was only a matter of time before they moved through where they were and without Rick's weapons I think the whole camp would have been devoured... Accept for Shane maybe, because he would have probably finally ended up running away to save himself...
