I expected today and tomorrow specifically to do poorly when we first started. I thought, it's E3, no one will do any press for Tex for days around it. Then the Kickstarter didn't get much press (other than smaller websites) and was still doing fine, so I started to think we were going to coast through E3 without much of a hit. Seeing it doing awesome during Microsoft's pre-E3 press conference yesterday gave me home, but... it looks like e3 IS having a bad effect on the Kickstarter. Sigh.

It's the last week of the SpaceVenture Kickstarter, and there are some people that have lowered or removed their pledge to further support it since it's struggling. I wish them well in trying to ensure its success, but they need $24,000 every day as of this morning in order to have a photo finish. We only need $8,000 every day to do the same, and we've generally been on track with that despite a few bumps in the road.

I feel that, win or lose, many of the SpaceVenture supporters that left will return. We may have more days that pledges are lowered or removed leading into next Monday, but we've got a few more days after their Kickstarter has resolved that we can make back our losses and still achieve victory.

We're now at 82%!

We have a new $1,500 backer!
Yup, and a little over $2500 more and we will reach our quota. Things are slowly coming back today.

Not even $2,500... we only need to get to $372,280. Our daily minimum fell to $7,700 after yesterday's very successful day.
Looks like I've missed a lot in the last few days. Was a slightly different kind of torture not having any internet access or updates for a while but from all the talk on the boards maybe I was better off just coming home to find us over target for the clown and well into the 80s Whoop whoop! It all looks pretty good to me. Glad to be be back though and have a whole bunch of updates and new videos to get my Tex fix. As far as daily totals and slow days go I wouldn't worry to much, in the next few days there is going to be some very nice little bumps upwards in our totals

Yes, I keep calculating the daily average required, but it's to the point where it doesn't really matter anymore. Our last three days (June 13 - 15) will see $50K easily, and maybe more. This thing is 99% certain now, and we're on course for $500 - $550K, I think.

Edit: I also predict we will hit $450,000 some time this weekend. Once Kickstarters get in range of their goal, there is usually a spike to take them over. We'll be at that tipping point on Friday or Saturday at the latest, I think.

How are you going to do that Trilaan, aren't you already at the maximum pledge that KS will allow or have I misunderstood something somewhere?

Hiya JJ and Sai, have you seen the artwork from Epic Mickey? It's pretty scary and creepy but some of the most original spin on Disney stuff I have seen in a long while.

This is pretty much spot on. It would be seriously unprecedented for us to have made it this far and not make it now. The real question is how far we can reach beyond that.
Not the best of days in terms of money, but still nearly 140 backers, with 5 hours to go. We'll most likely make the daily minimum, or close to anyway, right at the heart of E3. I do say, again, that things are looking well.

We just have to remain relentless, as we've been since the start (or rather, since a month BEFORE the start!)

Cool Epic Mickey artwork. Gotta play that game sometime.

Wow nice! Reminds me of the dark mysterious Mickey from Kingdom Hearts 2.
