I see Brian Fargo from Wasteland 2 tweeted about Project Fedora yesterday. Nice. Hope it brings in some support!

Yeah that was because someone in the Kickstarter comments tweeted him about it. I forget who, I wish it was possible to search the Comments page...

I guess this is as good a place as any to put this.
What do you guys think about being able to pause the FMV scenes in the new game?
To my knowledge, you could not do this in the old game. (Can you?) I trust the guys to give us a great game without any suggestions from me. But I thought this might be a cool feature to have available for those moments when you get interrupted and might have missed some of the dialogue in the video. Or maybe you just want to play a part of the scene again.

Thats a good idea Cathy. Its so annoying when someone walks in to talk to you and you cant pause a cutscene in a game. Also would be good to skip cutscenes (can't remember if we could in the past games...). Kingdom Hearts 1 drove me insane watching the same cutscene over and over again with no skip button. If you dont want to suggest it now you could suggest it when we get "the chance to communicate with the Big Finish creative team" from the $15 tier.

Heavens yes, Cathy. And Sai, you could press the space bar to skip them, at least most of the time. The Idea of pausing and/or being able to access them afterward is brilliant.

Actually, you could pause the FMV by pressing "P" in all 3 games... :)

Oh cool. I figured they probably were skippable but the Tex games were always pretty good about letting you keep moving without having to repeat things too much to the point of frustration so didn't need to skip too much. But its good to have just incase!

Maybe they could also have it like other games where you can access a "Gallery" of unlocked scenes and such via the main menu at any point. That would be cool to revisit certain moments. So you're on Day 5 but you wanted to remember a moment from Day 1 then you can.

@thedirector: Oh good, thanks for that!

thedirector -- Didn't know that! But at least they should use the standard play/pause/skip icons this time around.

That's exactly what I had in mind. :)

I agree Jerry, a pause, rewind & play would be ideal. Maybe I'll email it to the guys on KS.

If you do, mention the unlockable-as-you-go video scene gallery idea too :)

Blade Runner had something close to this where it would save sound bytes of important clues when you ask certain people.

I think having the video gallery is a great idea.
