"Tex Murphy - Project Fedora" is now live on Kickstarter.
Tex has a fax machine cause he's poor. And its 2012 now... we still use em.. I doubt they'll go away. (also don't recall people bitching about Back to the Future's fax machinessam10100 wrote:I know how you two feel. I showed the beginning of UKAM to my husband. He asked why in 2042 does Tex have a FAX machine?
Yeah it looked very painful, hope he is OK. But he certainly took it in his stride and in good humour, goes to show how awesome of a guy he is. As Chris said on the Meltdown Radio thing last night they have been really pleased how willing past actors have been to video in support due to having enjoyed their experience working on a video game.
We already have Archie (Bill Bradshaw) and Barry Corbin. And they confirmed previously that Michael York and Richard Norton would also be pitching in. Then on the Meltdown Radio show they confirmed Nilo too for doing a video appeal. Awesome!

Uhnnn... is it anything that could possibly make me feel better about the missing 18%?
What people keep forgetting here is that Tex lives in an alternate timeline with a nuclear attack in the western world and WW3. Of course development of stupid consumer electronics would be stunted.sbenrap wrote:The Fax machine isn't going ANYWHERE if you ask me, at least in Israel it is still widely used and the end is not near...
Yes, the new update is very intriguing!! Chris must have been up late last night with us watching and waiting for those 4500 backers, as he looks a little tuckered out.
I can imagine it's been quite an exhausting week.
Also really nice to hear about the banner ads they are going to take out. They better not make us wait until the day is half over for this big news!
