Yeah he was because a bit after we hit 4500 he posted a message in the Kickstarter comments:redcat72 wrote:Yes, the new update is very intriguing!! Chris must have been up late last night with us watching and waiting for those 4500 backers

Okay... I'm exhausted. Off to bed.
Thanks everyone!
Nah, I'm pretty sure they are good in predicting the future!joliet_jane wrote:What people keep forgetting here is that Tex lives in an alternate timeline with a nuclear attack in the western world and WW3. Of course!redcat72 wrote:The un-cropped photo of the guys from their Kickstarter profile:

Really?!? Well that sucks. Let me go read those articles. If you have a gift card it usually applies that first, and then you payment.Sai wrote:Hmm I've just found out you can't use Amazon Gift Cards on Kickstarter, odd huh? From the amount of people suggesting it and the obvious connection to Amazon it seemed s surefire thing... I have sent a message on Kickstarter to remove it from the payment guide. I hope it hasn't / doesn't inconvenience anyone who bought a gift card to use, can those be refunded back to cash if they did?

Yeah I mean its AMAZON gift card and Kickstarter payments are powered by AMAZON, it would seem to make sense except... nope! Don't they want people to buy more of their gift cards or something? That really stinks... I'm going to call them anyway.
lol!!redcat72 wrote:Edit: BLARRGH! Ok, where is that angry duck gif?

Dang. Doesn't make a lot of sense, considering they're both by the same company, but it is what it is I guess. Just like how PayPal has a crowdfunding site that accepts payments for stuff that isn't made yet but PayPal site itself closes accounts for collecting money for stuff that isn't made yet. Just policy differences and non-transferable systems I guessredcat72 wrote:It appears Sai's research is correct! @#%$$*&#$(#That sucks.
Well I know from the DoubleFine Kickstarter prepaid cards are also accepted as Tim Schafer got that answer from Amazon (so long as you add a extra $1).Nicole at Amazon in the Kickstarter payment department said they only accept credit cards, and you can't apply Amazon gift cards to the payment.
