Sooo, what's the whole Twitter protocol/social etiquette? I'm not a huge user, but it would be great if just one well followed famous person mentioned Tex. Would you (aka I) look like a total idiot if you (I) posted something like "I wonder if @grantimahara ever played the #texmurphy games in the 90's?" Not even link directly to the Kickstarter, but if they click #TexMurphy out of curiosity they'd find the Kickstarter mentioned on other posts... Any frequent Twitter-ers have any advice?

Aw man... even though my ad budget is expended, I really with I could afford ads on The Spoony Experiment website. He's does a video series on FMV games, and has overtly expressed love for Tex Murphy in the past. His users will know who Tex is. $150 for one week of a tiny animated GIF ad. I can make an ad easy, but I don't know what's worth it-- $150 for an ad, or $150 into the Kickstarter itself? Would Spoony's readers already know about Project Fedora?
Hmm... now that you mention it, Spoony's just a regular guy, and he's been really sick and depressed lately. So if I bought an ad on his site, I'd be helping both him and Tex. Hmm. I just might do it...Trilaan wrote:I sent Spoony an email about it, but, of course, he's a very busy guy. Still, sounds pretty good to me.
