Chris Jones talking about the attempts to bring back Tex just makes me want to see some stuff from these prior attempts.

Maybe add some kind of behind the scenes book that includes pics of CG Tex and notes and the like to the higher levels. Something like the "Double Fine Adventure Book" that DF offered. If not, maybe an extras disc in the special edition that includes some of this stuff?
Bad Mojo Redux had a DVD with Behind the Scenes stuff, so obviously for Tex, I'd like at least Lord of the Rings extended editions-level special features. he he

Doing a little IMDB offense. I stayed clear of flat out spamming before, but there is no clean way to approach IMDB and let some people know. I'm only targeting movie boards that make sense though, such as sci-fi and noir movies.

And yeah it will annoy some people, but in this game, what we need is for the word to spread around, and beyond our gaming frontiers. I wouldn't spam gaming sites for obvious reasons, but there is no harm in trying IMDB and other film sites, so long as it remains clean and positive.

On IMDB you can have a signature right? Or at least I see people add them to their posts. Could just contribute as usual (not talking about the kickstarter) and then in your signature have a link to the Kickstarter with some text e.g. listing the game's genres Sci-Fi-, Noir, Adventure etc.

I just thought of it earlier today, not even sure how to go about doing it yet.

Very nice. A good 21 minutes of audio.

I have been 'spamming' local Dutch gaming sites and boards with mixed results. Most don't post any adventure game related news anyway, so I wasn't really very hopeful to begin with, but others have made it a news item and in general user comments seem to be favourable (along the lines of the old Tex games being among their favourites and the pitch video bringing back good memories). Should be good for a few pledges.
