My memories of Larry Hagman are from I Dream Of Genie (I never watched Dallas). He was funny in that show. From everything I've heard/read, he was a genuine nice guy.

Sad to see Major Nelson gone. I loved that show too. Never did see Dallas even though I grew up around that area.

I wonder what they are going to do with the recent incarnation of Dallas now.

Going to keep going and killing off JR again???

or is it going to be cancelled?

I never watched the show....

I watched it a bit, for Larry Hagman, actually, and so I was wondering the same. Bit of research told me they were already shooting season 2, and the writers will now incorporate his passing somehow in the script.

The trouble is, he was the only interesting, non-generic character on the show, and stole every single scene he was in. I can't imagine this otherwise blend daytime-material continuing on prime time without him.

I didn't watch it either... if he was the only original cast member, then the show is done after this season I am guessing.

Especially since everyone else is bland.

I saw an article about his death and they mentioned that Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy from the original series are also in the new one.

Conrad Bain has died at 89... Most well known for his role on Different Strokes, but had a well credited career also...

Stan "the man" Musial died either today or yesterday. Great baseball player/hitter; one of the all-time greats.

Lost 2 great people, first is James Gandolfini, better known to some as Tony Soprano... Apparently a Heart Attack took him down while on Vacation...

Next is the great author Vince Flynn... Cancer got the best of him...

The Sopranos is my favourite show of all time. Can't believe it :( Well, I guess I might revisit the series in tribute to James.
