Hey Cub when do we get to see your movie?

Hahaha... well, the University screening version was finished a few months ago... but before I submit it on a large scale basis I am goign to be fixing up a few things. Namely cutting things down and tightening a few bits here and there hopefully geting it from 15 mins down to 12.

I also need to do a final pass of colour grade, and also a finalisation of all the music. Speaking of which you guys are in for a real treat with the soundtrack, as Matt did an amazing job!

I have 3 options for showingthe film to you guys (becuase I can tecnically call this community screening a private release, thus not voiding it form competitions, as long as you guys keep it a secret):

1. Show you the version we have now, which is everything, minus final grading and rotoschoping out of things like traffic and other things in shot, that should not be there.

2. Show you a preview/trailer of the film now

3. Make everyone wait until the final is ready which will be within the next 3 months.

Well, 1 and 2 equals 3 and that's my choice. I want to see the finished product in all its glory.

I agree with Jim. We've already waited this long to see it; we can wait a bit longer to see it in all its sparkling glory.

I would say 3 ... and then have option 1 added as a bonus feature on the DVD (aka "Deleted scenes")

I choose option number four. Drink bourbon, twittle fingers, and hope three months have passed since this thread has been up. Let's not even go into the fact that if I'm doing that, it means that I'm too incredibly lazy to even look at the posted date on the last post. There really is no limit to my laziness.

I do await the movie eagerly though. Ever since you mentioned the inspirational material behind the movie, I've been awaiting it as patiently as one can.

However, take your time, and make your baby the way you want it.

How about, show it now...then do all the sound and editing...and re-release. Pull a George Lucas on us, and tell us that the second version is how you really meant to portray the story.
