Tex on TV

No, this isnt about a Tex TV show but an interesting thing I found out while playing with my Svideo cable.
Turns out because of the resolution, it being more blurred and what not what not, not sure why it does it but when you play a Tex game on the TV the graphics look a whole lot better.
Of course the game is basically unplayable because you cant read text and its hard to spot small things but it is interesting to look at what the game would look like with better graphics.
Anyone who can do this I suggest you take a look.

My newest computer (that doesn't play Tex games, or anything older than XP or thereabouts) has a record program built in that enables it to record s-video and rca inputs.
I've tried recording my gameplay to make some movies by connecting my older computers' monitor outputs to these inputs, but all I get is gibberish (the PS2 works fine, though

).
Any ideas how I can clean things up for the PC's?

Install something like VMWare to run Win 3.1 and then install the Tex games that way. OR setup a dual boot, although finding Win 3.1 or Win 9x drivers for some of the really new video/audio cards might be hard.

Why don´t you just capture it out right of DosBox? Just press CTRL+ALT+F5 to output the whole screen to AVI - works great for me (needs a fast CPU though, but is much less trouble and perfect quality).
You can try it out with the
DosBox Version of the Demo here (post from Apr 10, 2007).
