A technical question about the world of Tex
Alright, I've started up a long Tex fan fiction, and I've found a slight stumble. I think I remember reading somewhere, and seeing that daytime hours were switched with night time hours due to the increased radiation from the sun...so my question would be...does Tex wake up at dusk? And sleep at dawn? Since it's always night in the game.

Well, it depends on the time which you base your facfic. The time change didn't occur until shortly before the beginning of Pandora Directive, roughly April 2043. If your story is based before that general date, then Tex's days would be much like ours, though still having a high amount of radiation.
If after that date, then yes, what we call night & day would be reversed. However, depending on the case, it is possible for Tex to have to do things while the sun is up, though it should be a sparingly used time as prolonged exposure would damage our hero's health. Despite Tex stating he had a natural immunity to radiation near the beginning of Under A Killing Moon when telling us about the Old San Francisco which he calls home, radiation is still a threat to his survival, otherwise being locked in a radiation test room in Overseer wouldn't have been such a high priority to escape (it was a life-threatening situation in Overseer).
Hope that helps!

Thanks, Hammerhead! Your knowledge of Tex lore is quite impressive.

true detective he sleeps when he's tired and/or whacked over the head with a lead pipe.
LOL Cub, that's so true. The only thing he does less frequently than sleep is eat. I just want to give him a little fridge with more than "eat the rich" dog food in it.
They still have to have Ramen noodles in the not so distant future.
