anyone know how to save files on DVD-RW?
Anyone know how to save files on DVD-RW that holds up to 4GB beside CD-RW that only hold limit to 700mb? I tried every possible way to put it on blank DVD-RW (4GB) and just give me an error a NON-DVD files. I can copy on 700mb CD-RW but it dosent hold the full 2GB file (1).
I save my America's Army 2.8 (2GB 1 file) save in My Document since its already finished d/ling. I thought I can save the file i already finished d/ling and copy it to a blank DVD-RW since its can hold 4GB.
I look up wikipedia and doesnt give me any info on how or maybe its not made for it? Anybody know how? So thats I dont have to re d/l 2.4GB again once i transferred to a new PC soon. All I need to do is pop in DVD-RW that have AA file on it and just Install the game.
ya know .

If you're using Nero Burning Rom as your burning program I think you should use the DVD-ROM (UDF) when making a new compilation. That will be able to hold files of 2 GB and even bigger files - all the way up to 4,6 GB. I've used it a couple of times to store ISO-files on DVD-R's but it should work with DVD-RW's too.
See if that works out for you

Agree its the default file format of DVD that u can only use files of 1 gig od chunks thats why if u browse DVD moves u see sometimes 3 or 5 files of 1 gigabite.netroam wrote:If you're using Nero Burning Rom as your burning program I think you should use the DVD-ROM (UDF) when making a new compilation.
