I just bought me some nostalgia!

The complete collections of Kings Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest and Leisure Suit Larry. That'll run on Windows XP.

Picked them up for a song down at my old workplace. Time to boldly go where no janitor has gone before!! (Again!)

The nostalgia! The memories! And I get to replay it all! Yay!

PS: Don't wait up for me!
Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
I've seen that package on the shelf at my local game shop, is it worth it? I've been collecting all of the Lucasarts Classic re-issues which are optimised for XP. So far I have Sam & Max, Full Throttle, The Dig and Dark Forces 2. Ahhh the memories.
Well, you don't get the original EGA-versions of the first games, all the first games are the updated VGA-versions. Other than that it's pretty sweet, yeah.

Maybe this is more nostalgia than you want to remember, but you can download all of the original Zork games (Zork 1, 2 and 3) for free from several places on the Internet.

Here, for example:
http://thezorklibrary.com/thefallenempire/948gue.htm

They will run on 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP or Vista.
When I look back at all the games I'd love to play through again I'm reminded just how much time I spent playing these Adventure Games and think.... Did I ever do anything else?

I saw some of those on sale at Gamestop/EB Games. Kings Quest and Space Quest collections for $9.99 ea. Usually nostalgia costs a whole lot more... :)

Already gone through 5 of the Space Quests... Dammit, I shouldn't've played them to death all those years ago. I remember too much :D

Oh well. Space Quest 6 ahoy!

I have that problem with just about any old adventure game I've played. If I'd played them at least twice then I know when I go back, no matter how many years later, I just fly thru all of them. It's still a blast though!
