By which I mean: I started my summer-job yesterday. I love it! Great choice of physical activities such as shoveling coal, breaking rocks, carrying rocks, smashing rocks to bits, taking those bits and grinding them to dust and finally smashing that dust into a cake. And then we analyze what's in the rocks by chemical and mechanical means

Also, my co-workers are nice. I'm also the only guy in the lab, my boss and four co-workers are all women

Like I said, it's a physically challenging job. But that's not the hard part. The hard part is that to get to work, I have to take a 20-minute bike-ride. Sound scary? Thought not. It ain't. But the return-trip takes closer to 45-60 minutes That hill is *steep*.

So with all this training and working and riding my bike for up to nine hours every weekday for the next nine weeks, I should have purged all the remnants of World of Warcraft from my system

By which I mean I should be fit as a fiddle again after two years spent mostly sitting on my butt and stuffing my face Here's hoping I can last the whole nine yards! And weeks!

(I have some real close, positive, cheery and above all supportive friends who've started a pool on when I'll have a coronary. Want in? I know a guy who knows a guy!)

Do they smash, pummel, grind, break, and powerder'ize rocks too?

Just don't piss them off then eh, becuase you've got a couple more rocks that they'd probably have no problem crushing into a fine powder.

Technically, it's ferromanganate (a heavy metal). Not 'rocks'. Sure looks the same though.
