Hey guys. I know this really doesn't have much of a place here, but I do see you all as family and I wanted to relay some of the worst news I've heard this year.

As you may or may not know, I watch wrestling religiously. And since I was three years old, I haven't been able to pull my self away from this male soap opera. Well today, my absolute favorite wrestler in the business passes away, and the circumstances behind it make me want to cry. They're calling it a double murder-suicide, Benoit, and his wife and kid.

I truly don't think I have ever felt this depressed and down about a celebrity death before, but to me Benoit was an icon that I looked up to. He takes up a big portion of my bedroom on the wall.

I just know, as bad as I feel, being one of his dearest fans, his family has to feel 100 times worse than I do. I feel for them in this time of uncertainty of facts, and for the death of thier family member.

R.I.P. Benoit.

Yeah - I also just read about it this morning (a few hours ago that is) and I was completely in shock that it had happened. First reading the BREAKING NEWS flash about his untimely death - then reading how the authorities call it a double murder-suicide. I would never think that Benoit could ever be capable of doing that, so of course I have a really hard time believing that to be true unless proven of course.

I did read though that he cancelled his scheduled appearance at a house show on Saturday and even his ECW Championship match at Vengeance on Sunday due to a serious family emergency. I wonder what he meant by that then.

Benoit was one of the best technical wrestlers, you would ever see. His lack of mike-skills and at some point charisma was a drop in the ocean compared to his in-ring skills as a wrestler. I enjoyed watching him over the course of his long career, and I'm saddened to see that he's no longer with us.

I can't help but get a little weepy when I now take a look at the clip with now two late greats celebrating in the ring together at the end of Wrestlemania 20 (Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit). Two absolutely incredible wrestlers that were the best of friends who unfortunately left this world way too soon.

I cant believe it. I remember the Crippler Crossface and saw some of the tribute. Do you think the high pressure of the wrestling industry is to blame?

What gets me, and sort of makes me angry, is that the media cries steroid abuse right off the bat. "roid rage" .... He tested negative the last time he went up for a drug test ...

We may never know why. The pressure of the business? If it was, it would be a first for Benoit. He lived the business, perhaps more than anyone else. His wife was a former WCW valet stage manager "Woman" ... I mean, the whole wrestling stage was his life.

This whole thing has been the most depressing ordeal ever ...

It's like watching someone you idolize for work ethic, and overall quality of character ... and ... ugh. I don't know. It just really really hit me hard.
