I was just thinking, if a new game does come out... are we just going to go to our local stores, buy a copy and be amazed in private?

No says I!

We should have a convention! Chris and Aaron and the gang could come down, sign autographs, we could meet each other in person, and we could all get the game at the same time!

Every year I tell myself I should drag my ass to E3... and every year I empty my pockets with about 2 cents worth of lint.

I would love to attend a Tex Murphy convention, and I one day I were to walk into a store and see a Tex Murphy game sitting on the shelf, I think I would pass out!

For me it's a little bit though. I live in a country called Amsterdam ohh i meant the Netherlands :) If a new game comes out i would really like to be at a convention

I've been an advocate of a Tex convention for years now. Count me in!

I'll be there if it's anywhere even remotely close to me, basically the US. And, if a new game comes out, you might see me on the news as the guy who bought a 1000 copies and was giving it out to complete strangers.

Since a Tex Convention would basically be just us and a few others, maybe we could all meet at ANOTHER convention, and have our own mini-party? Might be easier/quicker than waiting for a new game.

That or have a small Tex Convention. Frankly we really dont have to have a new game to do a convention.

I have always been in favor of a Tex convention. I think it would be fantastic! We could all bring our laptops, set up a room somewhere in a Salt Lake City Hotel. Shoot the breeze, have some fun, maybe even take a tour through the offices. (I got to do that once with the Sierra Company, and it was tres' cool) And of course, get our host shamelessly drunk and pry loose all the secrets. :wink: K just kidding on that last part! wink wink
Now that Tex is a youngin, I can give him his first pack of Cigs. (candy ones, of course)
