You know, I think this place has started to get recognized. This was only a month ago ... And I bet 100 of them were probably guests. As I speak now, we have six guests visiting. I like these numbers. More traffic, equals more interest. Eh?
I'm not fat ... I'm festively plump.
It's because everybody keeps writing "Who Was Tex Murphy?" everywhere :D

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
Hate to burst your bubble there Malloy, but it was probably a web crawler search engine or spam bots. There was a problem awhile back with Google Web crawlers sucking bandwidth and making massive hits. I've been on the board watching when heavy numbers hit all at once. They vanish fairly quickly too.

I don't think it hurts at all that typing Texmurphy.com or org. or etc, leads directly here though.

Cheers!

Web crawler. . .a great concept to use in the next Tex game. Just think of the interesting puzzles it could generate!

Mac: "It's not pretty Murphy..."

Tex: "Come on Mac, you can tell me."

Mac: "Well, alright...they found him on the floor in his apartment. The Web Crawlers got to him..."

Tex: "Damn...that's bad..."
