HOLY SMOKES JIM!!!!
*Hypothetical Scenario for new Tex Game:
An obsessed Tex Murphy fan spends the majority of his life wheeling and dealing, ultimately acquiring every single known piece of Tex Murphy paraphernalia. He then proceeds to lock up all but one of each item inside a vault together with a nuclear warhead with the intention of utterly destroying all but one of each item, thus sky-rocketing their value into the gazillions. Luckily Tex, with his seductive powers, gets the obsessed fan's wife to replace the canisters of nerve gas with canisters of nitrogen, thus allowing the guards at Fort Knox to act like they die, but actually with the help of James Bond manage to sabotage the fan's evil plan and save the day....uuhhhh
Bests, Rockefeller

LOL Rockefeller.
I know. I just want to go shopping in that stuff.
I have heard rumors that there actually was a Russian translation of at least one of the novels. Alex, where are ye for that??
Yepper, the completest in me is green with envy. The french novels, the atari 3 pack, and of course that uber cool patch of matches, and pin. And the Asian version...whoa.
With any luck, Tex Stuff will be a component of the next upgrade to the board. That way we can group it all together.
No wonder I don't see ya bidding on items anymore Jim.

So is the pinkish coloring on UAKM novel due to fading or a wacky misprint? Cause I've had hot off the press copies in my hand, (back in the day) and I've never seen that variation.
Funny, a few years ago, I seriously thought about a custom plate, especially for the Miata. At first I thought Tex fan, or Tex PI, but figured either people would think I like Texas, or miss it entirely.
So I skipped it.
Yours is very neat.

WHOA!
Jim! I knew you were a collector but I had NO IDEA to what extent. That's awesome!
What are those CDs in the second last photo? (I noticed the OS soundtracks in the third last one though).
Keep collecting man, it's a spectacular set you have there! All the while my single copy of each game is developing CD-rot.

Rocky - that was REALLY funny!
Jen - I am under the impression that the pink spines are first-first editions. However, I am probably wrong. At any rate, those appear to be VERY rare.
Cub - I believe those are my Demos from UAKM, PD and TMO.
Michel - Yeah, I am a sly old dog and loving every bit of it.

Holy crow!
I am humbled and amazed... well done, JTOG!
P.S. I'm planning a section for the new site (Coming Soon...still!) that might be right up this particular alley...more details on that at a later date.

EDIT---
P.S.S.
With any luck, Tex Stuff will be a component of the next upgrade to the board. That way we can group it all together.
Yeah, what Jen said.

I'd say he's actually securing Tex Murphy games so that future generations can enjoy the frustrations of trying to run them on future computers!

wow, all those copies of the games and even strategy guides. I can't resist a nicely done strategy guide.
So... how much would it cost to get you to part with one of your copies of UAKM? ^^
Also, the license plate is awesome!
