So, after all these years I broke out my Pandora Directive CDs to play it through again (I love this game). But, the forces of evil have prevailed and have made my disc 1 unreadable. I have tried to create an ISO image of the disc, but that fails. I have tried to copy the data from the CD to the hard drive, but that fails and crashes Windows Explorer so hard that I had to reboot.

Therefore, to make a short story long, does anybody have any ideas on how:
1. Get the data off the disc.
2. Convince one of you illustrious board members to share a copy of your disc 1 ISO image.

You can find the game (not the most legal way to do it) over p2p such as emule, since it's out of print and you did buy it, I don't think there's any problem doing that.

To be honest, I did it because my cd 5 got stolen by gremlins/aliens/the nsa...

Have you tried one of those disc cleaning kits. I'm thinking the kind that polish off a thin layer of the plastic might work. Here's a link on Amazon that has some search results:
