Thanks for such a wonderful story! I full-heartedly recommend them both to any Tex-fan. They're both extremely well written, original, and thought through. At no point did I get the impression I was reading a fan fiction - besides from a tiny timeline discrepancy I'm trying to resolve.

MegaKudos to Jen for writing this fantastic piece - James, we ought to have some Unofficial Tex Medals created for community members who go above and beyond for the sake of the board.
