I love watching those trailer re-cuts... but in my opinion the best by a long shot is the one they did for The Ring: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SgxayErS5As
They managed to turn the ring from a horror film into a romatic inspirational journey, and I think it won some trailer competition for the re-cut... basically, if you have not seen the film or did not know it was a horror, you would swear it could be as toucing as the Shawshank Redemption (where it borrowed the music from).

Ha Ha That was terrific, Fred! I love the Scary Mary trailer too! I was gonna link to one of my favorite recuts, but sadly the version I liked has been removed - it was a horror version of 'The Sound of Music' - truly creepified! If anyone knows another location of it please let me know!
