Excellent news... all I can say is I am glad they finally reached an agreement! We will see the Hobbit!! :D

Read about this on IESB.net yesterday. It should be an interesting project. The tone of The Hobbit has always been decidedly different (more upbeat) from the Lord of the Rings. I wonder if the writers will stick with that or if they will try a tone more in tune with the LotR movie trilogy. Hmmmm...makes you wonder...
I just wish I had a nickel for every brilliant idea I ever had...wait...oh, darn...I do.
