A real life puzzle box

Well here I am at the airport waiting for my plane so I opened a present early from a friend which he said would keep me occupied for hours.

Have a look at http://www.sonicwarp.com. There are two puzzle boxes you can get. I have the smaller one and like Tex I've been playing with it for ages and can't get in. My bonus points are certainly all used up.

When you try and move it in any way the eyes light up red.

I'm just glad that customs didn't ask me to open it for them - I can't get in!!!

It would be so cool if I could close it again and keep things in afterwards. I shall have to keep you posted!

I believe I've seen the sphere puzzles in The Sharper Image, or something like that. They certainly do look interesting. Definitely keep us posted on how it goes, and what's in there.

Apparently its taken most people weeks. I´ll let you know if I ever open it...!
Which one did you get? The spherical thing or one of those square boxes with a sphinx-emblem?

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
The square box. It´s called the Nkryptor and the answer isn´t on the internet (at least not that I can find). It´s got two things inside that react to magnets but apparently you don´t need a magnet to open it.

Stilll working on it....
Does this puzzle box have any useful volume inside? That is, when you figure out how to open it, can you use it to store secret things inside of it?
Man! I really hate asking stupid questions, but, since it's in my nature....did you Google it?
"If you look to me for illumination, you better have a flashlight!"
Googled it (it's called Nkryptor) and all I can find is forums of people saying it took them six weeks minimum to get into. I can't find a way in yet but I'm working on it, and passing it to every I meet.

I was hoping to be able to store things in it but to be honest, if it takes six weeks to open, it would have to be something special!

Still working on it. It helped Tex, I wonder if bourbon will help....
It's just a box, there's only a finite number of ways to open it. My advice to you is Occam's Razor.

I use Gillette razor's myself. Is Occam a foreign brand?

I was thinking of Foucault's Pendulum then the though occurred to drop it :-)

I think it needs more than one magnet....
