My new editing setup!
Well my Bella Pro Series Premiere Pro editing keyboard finally arrived from the US today, and boy is this thing sweet.
Colour and symbol coded keys, not to mention a job/shuttle to help scroll through footage effortlessly.
And the best part, the job/shuttel works with virtually any program! I am even using it now to edit text with.
Anyway, this latest edition virtually completed my new editing setup, which is now capable of uncompressed HD editing thanks to the Quad core processor and RAID HDD arrays (for the technically minded).
Here are a few pics!

Can't wait to start editing some more flicks!!
-Cub. =o)

Sweet setup Cub. Love the dual monitor setup, I use that myself. I know I showed off half of my office setup a while back but why don't I let everyone take a tour of my studio as well. Here's a few pics:

This is a photo of my desk or as I like to call it, my command center. In the frame are two 21" monitors bought for $20 a piece off the college when they made the jump from CRT's to LCD's.

Seen here is a view from the command center looking at the screens and the video game collection in the background.

Here is a shot of some software loading.

This is one of my latest video projects that I am working on, I will explain at a later date. You can see my mighty pen collection and stereo narration microphone picked up at a garage sale for approx $20.

This is my $20 custom Premiere keyboard painted by myself with acrylic paint and clear nail polish to prevent wear. Value after custom paint job . . . $17.

Here we see my Tex DVD ISO collection always in reach for a quick Tex-fix. My cup of coffee, remote for TV watching and my 1999 mail-away-chocolate bar offer-non-functioning calculator-"The Mummy" movie promotional mouse pad. Approximate value FREE!

This is my entertainment device for those long render times, a Coca-Cola "Russell Royale Return Top" Galaxy S 300 I recieved as a kid for an Xmas stocking stuffer. My guess is Xmas 1983.

Mmmmmmm the official food of long render times, Jalapeno Pringles. Pricey, Spicey and Yummy.

Here we see my fine custom shelving created with nothing but the finest milk crates stolen from our local dairy provider. It holds my tapes professional and non as well as my many burned CD's and DVD's.

Seen here is my scanner with additional print feature that works whenever the hell if damn well feels like.

This is a shot of my video cameras that have served me well over the years. All Sony model numbers: DCR-TRV280, DCR-TRV510, HVR-A1U. Basically 2 Digital 8 cameras for wear and tear and one HDV Cam for pro gigs.

Here is what they look like from the side. The tall one is used as my webcam for chatting to friends and clients out of town.

This is a shot of my custom dented computer case provided by my business partner's drunken cousin. Behold it's crinkled majestry.

Inside of the magic machine are it's many hard drives for video. Not pictured, the many other portable hard drives.

Pictured here is my special custom cooled video card featuring dollar store green tape and cardboard for that extra air-tight coolness that helps cut down on random crashes when working on something important.

Here are 2 of my many randomly potitioned state of the art (for the 80's) speakers liberated from a local dump.

We move onto another of many speakers randomly positioned for that "true" stereo effect as well as my "KEEP IT DOWN UP THERE!" headphones. Also pictured is an inexplicable tiny door that leads nowhere. Perfect for hiding Xmas decorations and disassembled waterbed.

A 1980's ONKYO amp powers the liberated speakers after itself surviving being struck by lightning frying all features other than sound amplification, I can really hear the HiFi. . . is that smoke? WHO PUT PENNIES IN HERE!?

Ah, my 3rd DVD player in the last 2 years. A special $30 DVD player on sale from Walmart. You know they sell quality items.

Here we see my DVD preview chair for that movie theater effect. It was salvaged from my $500, 1992 Dodge Shadow, and has served as my TV watching chair for previewing custom DVD's for clients or just watching TV. "Deviled Glowing Eye" cat that watches everything you do in the room is an optional feature.

Here is my 32" TV, film festival awards and DVD collection. However you will notice my prized fedora in the top left corner. Straight from "back in the day" it is my grandfather's actual hat and has survived all these years. Also yes I am watching Fashion Television. What? I can't afford it so I like watching fashion on TV. Sue me. I just watch women's fashion for ummm research, yeah so I know what to dress women in when I make movies and such. Yeah that's it.

Here we see my essential equipment, my multimeter and "helping hands" for those necissary repair jobs on questionably working studio equipment.

And last but not least we have my prized possession, the only known Smurf in captivity.
Well this ends the tour, hmmmm looking at it now . . . I would much rather have Cub's setup. Alright that's it, time to start selling my body for money. Any takers?
