any tried the new lost game, christ its annoying. Has only an auto save which only happens after a end of a scene so when you get killed you have to start all over again.

I'm only 3/4 through & have been playing for a few days. Some people say its a short game well they must be hard core gamers or something.

I'm not a fan of lost so I can't help you on that...

But I am familiar with those Auto Save Games... Very Annoying...

Yeah, I'd rate that game at a 6/10. The gameplay was bad, the story was cool. As for the game being short, it took me six hours to beat it. Short, indeed.

I don't like a game if I can beat it in single digit hours... It's gotta be at least a 10 hour game to be worth my effort... Otherwise I don't really find it worth the money either if it is over too quickly...

Well I wish I could finish it, stuck going to black rock . I 'll have to put it away for a while & try again some other time. A few people have stated they finished in 5 hrs , they must be very good at games then cause I'm still going. 2 more episodes . I think you can run faster on a console. its a bit hard moving a mouse with one hand & pressing both shift key & W key with the left hand.

Shift + W and the mouse? That's like standard, classic run'n gun mode.

yeah well I usually only play games with a mouse/arrow keys. I did read somewhere that this game was designed for a console thats why yhey didn't give a menu for a save game.

I didn't have much of a choice but to buy it for the X-Box 360. My PC is getting ancient. I'd wait for it to come down to a decent budget price, like 20 dollars. Then the game would be worth getting.

As for trying to get to the Black Rock, that's not even the biggest pain in the ass. You'll find a bigger pain in the ass when you get to the Black Rock, get the dynamite, and find out the only way back is through the jungle...walking. If you run, the dynamite blows up. So, you have to walk. While being chased by the smoke monster.

Have fun with that.

well would you believe I found that the easiest, LOL. Finally got to the rock, my problem was I have no sense of direction. Finally got away from the black smoke monster & now the bastard is after me again. So after running jumping over & under logs now I die falling off the side of a cliff.....LOL

I'm not a fan of Lost so I know nothing about the stories or characters, but your description doesn't surprise me. It is a tie-in game to help promote the series but also an attempt to allow fans to become more immersed into the culture of the show. Those types of projects are generally rushed to meet with season premiers and help amplify enthusiasm for the show. Very few of these tie-in games have been done well. Star Trek:Voyager - Elite Force was quite good though, even if lacking in length. The first X-Files game was great too, an Interactive Movie on 7 discs. It was awesome.

I say the X-Files game sucked in a similar fashion. Great story, terrible gameplay.

There are a lot of games out there that have Great Stories, but for some reason the effort wasn't put into the game play... I don't think I could list all the ones I've encountered...

That's where AC and CJ knock us all over... Great Stories shared with Great Game Play...

I've been thinking about getting that series myself, after some recommendations from some people on this message board... I went to a GameStop and asked when Dark Matter was coming out, they had it in the system, but didn't have a date for it... Sucks...

As a fan of the TV series, I had to play the game...

I thought the story in the game fit well into TV story. I wasn't impressed with Gameplay, Keyboard Controls or length of the game. It was all too console-ish and I finished in the game way too quickly.
