Though the website mostly caters to Christians and atheists, all beliefs are welcome to share their point of view.

I'm not one for religion in the first place... but it's a pretty cool website, all the same.

-Cub. =o)
I agree...nice site..well done...but I don't find myself getting overly religious. Accepted god into my life whole heartedly for the first time last year...made me feel a lot better. But I don't go to church everyday and I still haven't finished the bible yet. Some day down the road I shall...

I've looked over your site, nicely laid out...

But I'm more of the Scientific type person, I seek proof... I have to go with Cub on this...

Good luck with whatever your goal is with the website...

I don't go to church much either. I think you should drop by the site regularly. I just updated again and you might get something out of it.

Thanks Cub and baf for the encouraging words. I'm very new to web design, and I have gone to great links to make the site not look horrible.

I will turn the wife onto your site... She is a god-fearing person... I'm sure she'll get something out of it...

I don't think there is a Horrible looking website... It all goes back to the "Eye Of The Beholder" thing...

What exactly are you making the website for??? Just to encourage others or is this for a church group or what???

I just think its a message that isn't really out there right now. Most Christians are very content with pissing people off, and they don't care about the reprocutions.

Believe what you will, but do not force your beliefs unto others. They are free too.

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
Thats half of the point of the website Fred...

Well spoken Fred.

I enjoy having the feeling of faith in my body. But it's my belief that you don't necessarily have to go to church all the time to prove that you believe or that you have the faith. If you feel it, then it's real. And I do like talking to others about their beliefs. We all have a point of view on religion...we can all learn from each other in a peaceful way. Case in point, my cousin whom I haven't talked to in years, was really huge into Marilyn manson...and used that as a jumping off point to become "anti-god" so to speak....one day we were sitting at BK eating some lunch, and the guy next to us starting talking to him about religion...he was talking at my cousin, but he was talking with him. Come to find out he was a very staunch christian, but he was also a man of understanding and a man of getting a dialogue going and the two of them had a peaceful discussion about religion for a good half hour...with each of them sharing their views and discussing their differences. It was really kind of interesting to see two people from different backgrounds talking about religion and not being at each others throats...which we see time and time again.

Thats exactly what I hope my site will be a ground for, peaceful discussion.

Currently I have one atheist writer, another in the works, and a Wiccan writer on the way. Certainly a lot of shared beliefs for just starting out.

Sounds really interesting...I'll have to go over and check it out from time to time and see what everyone is talking about. My mom bought me a bible last year when I was going through my divorce...I was a wreck and I needed something to kinda get me through, plus I was dealing with my fathers passing (he passed in 2004...I'm still grieving big time) and it was just a bad time for me. I found a really good church and just started to allow myself for the first time in my life to accept the higher power. I always believed there was a higher power, but I never allowed myself to address it as God. But now I do...I firmly believe...I believe in faith in religion and I believe in science. I feel like the two can go hand in hand to find a middle ground. Just my opinion.

That's very well put; that's been my belief for quite some time. I never have called myself a religious person; but I consider myself a spiritual being.

That's a nice looking website Travis! Hope it works out well.

I wasn't aiming what I said at you Freep, I was merely musing out loud how things should be from my point of view.

So we are in agreement.

Also, I consider myself to be None Of The Above. I am not convinced there is no God, but I will not worship something I am not sure even exists.

I would say I am Anti-Pascal's Wager, with just a touch of buddhistic view of life. I.e., believing in God is fine. Not believing in God is also fine. Everyone is free to make their own choices.

I've made mine.

Just to take a piece of what you said... You could always to what George Carlin did... Become a Sun Worshiper and Pray to Joe Pesci...
