Megaman 2 is my favourite all time game, partially because of the kickass sound track ^^

Cool thanks for that, I really like video game remix bands or video game remixes/styled in general. Also orchestras that play old video game music like VideoGamesLive etc.

There's a *lot* of them over in Japan. Doujin (amateur) artists who do video game remixes or in a video game style.

50 minutes you say... I should be able to top that, I just have to find those 50 minutes in which to play... lol

We should start posting our personal best times on classic nes games...and other game systems as well. Like for me, my personal best time on Castlevania is 25 minutes....and on Super Metroid on the SNES is 1 hour and 15 minutes with 100% accuracy of the game. Any comers?

I can't boast this now, but when i was still a kid (i think around 12) i could beat Contra without the 30 lives code.

speaking of speed runs though, i love watching em and one of the craziest ones on the NES in my opinion is that of 'Battletoads'. Mainly cause i never could beat level 3 let alone any of the other 9.

And sadly Fred, i cannot take place as emulator is the only way i have access to Megaman 2 (although does it count if i play the emulated game on my dreamcast? I think it's really hard to cheat on that disc) ^^

The game is the same be it on the Original NES or an emulator, right??? So why are Emulators banned from this friendly contest???

Well aside from how easy it is to cheat on an emulator (though i could cheat on a NES, i still have my game genie ), you never know if the rom is cracked or corrupted.
