I've been listening to a crapload of music lately and it got me thinking about the albums that I have that I truly just listen to from beginning to end every single time I listen to them...and I was wondering what my top 5 are...and so...here's my Top 5 albums that I could not go on living without them being in my cd collection....and these really aren't in any order...
1. Charlie Daniels Band - "A Decade of Hits"
2. Orbital - "In Sides"
3. Metallica - "...And Justice For All"
4. The Trance Collective
5. Men at Work - "Cargo" (Would have been their "Best of.." cd but it doesn't have "Blue for You" on it)
Now, keep in mind, there are other cds that have songs on them that I absolutely love, but these 5 cd's for sure top my collection as cd's that I can listen to, beginning to end, everytime I put them into the cd player...
Any thoughts?

Well, I was going to go looking through my cd and lp (yes, I said lp) collection for ideas. But, if you can't think of them off the top of your head, they're not your favorites.
So here goes. . .
1. James Taylor - JT
2. The Beatles - White Album
3. Richard Wagner - Die Meistersinger Von Nurnberg
4. John Pizzarelli - Live At Birdland
5. Frank Sinatra - His Great Performances; 1953 - 1960
Rather eclectic, don't you think?

Top 5 music acts, huh??? I put them in Alphabetical order, because I'm not picking which is my favorite, I'd have to sit here and listen to several things by each group over and over... I was thinking about doing 10 instead of only 5, but I'll stick to the 5...
1. Johann Sebastian Bach
2. Meatloaf
3. Metallica
4. Pink Floyd
5. Toby Keith

Lemme see... From all over the spectrum, I bring selected favorites:
Iron Maiden - The Number of the Beast
Jean Michel Jarre - Oxygen 1-6
Social Distortion - White Light, White Heat, White Trash
Green Day - American Idiot
Sonata Arctica - Of Silence
By the way, anybody out there who've heard of a metalband called Pagans Mind?

Pagan's Mind... Nope, never heard of them... Searched them out on YouTube though...

Made me think of a mix between, Kiss, Faith No More, Tesla, and Gwar... {without the makeyp of course}
Not really my style, but for being in the metal genre, they seemed pretty good...

As you might expect, I'm an oldie's fan.
First picks off the top of my head but really hard to limit to five:
Elvis' Golden Records (the 1st one, 1958, I think)
The Very Best of Roy Orbison
The Beach Boys - Little Deuce Coupe
O Brother Where Art Thou? soundtrack
Alan Price - O Luck Man soundtrack

Pagans Mind are an up-and-coming metalband from my hometown. Doing pretty well for themselves around Europe too, especially Germany.
