See where Chris works!

(Well, maybe). While searching for biographical info on Chris Jones, I looked up TRUGOLF in a business database, and got an address. I put it into google maps, and not only can you see it, but you can use Street View! O_O You can move your mouse around and look at everything!

Geez, back when he was pioneering "virtual world" concepts, I don't think Chris ever thought "One day, this technology may be used to stalk me..." :lol:

Oh, and here's the company data where I found it. Boring stuff, but of interest:

Oh, I know that. :oops: But I hope you all can forgive me... intense research is just something I do for fun: I'm a librarian! I swear I'm not dangerous. :(

I love playing with Google maps, especially with street view. I was overexcited because I was surprised that the area was given street view-- it's not common.

My old Pittsburgh apartment has street view too. It's the big 3-story red brick one.

Well I didnt even know about Street View, nifty. It seems a nice sunny location with those pretty mountains.

Google Earth now also has three-dimensional views for some mountain ranges, as well as buildings in different cities. It looks pretty neat. Amazing what's available on the internet these days.

Don't tell me Librarians aren't Dangerous... Just watch Tomcats and look at the trouble Jerry O'Connell gets into with a Librarian... :mrgreen:

The Red Head at the beginning of this Trailer is a SAFE, NON-Dangerous Librarian... :lol:

And, what about that made for TV movie called The Librarian? Off beat adventure starring Bob Newhart, Kyle McLaughlin (sp?) and some people I never heard of before. Fairly good movie, funny, some cool action scenes and a hot babe (can't believe I said that; must be Ryan's post affecting me). I think they made a sequel but never saw it. Oh, BTW, the Librarian was a guy, which in and of itself was a little quirky.

Yeah, it was the dude from ER...what was his name? Noah Wyle!...I thought the first one was pretty good. Didn't see the second one though.

Hey, Tomcats! I loved that movie but couldn't remember the name. Thanks for reminding me.

Another lethal librarian film was The Gun in Betty Lou's Handbag.

Yes, Noah Wyle was his name... He played Dr. John Carter on the show... Still one of the most popular Drs. from the Show, among the fans that is... And though has hasn't been on the show in quite some time, he still holds the Most Episodes among all ER Actors/Actresses... Current record of ER Appearances goes to Noah Wyle with 249 Episodes, with close runner up Laura Innes, who played Dr. Kerry Weaver, with 245 Episodes... After these two the closest is 209...

As for Wyle's Librarian Movies {made for TV} there are 3 of them total...

The Librarian - Quest For The Spear {2004}

The Librarian - Return To King Solomon's Mines {2006}

The Librarian - The Curse Of The Judas Chalice {2008}

I haven't seen the 3rd one, not even positive if it has Aired on TV yet... It does say however that the release date was April of 2008... So it should have Aired sometime last Month... There is no Plot information on the Movie, however, Jonathan Frakes Directed the last 2 of the them... Some of you may know him as Commander William T. Riker from Star Trek The Next Generation... He is also Rumored to be playing the Grandfather in the soon to be made Castlevania Movie...

Okay that is more than enough Useless Information that I'm sure most of you or all of you didn't want or care to know about... :lol:

I never even knew about these! And I happen to like Wyle a lot-- he was really great in Pirates of Silicon Valley.

Yep, and Frakes was Xanatos in Gargoyles too! It's cool that he's directing, and being in Castlevania will further cement his credibility among the Geek demographic.
Not useless to me, Baf. I enjoyed the first Librarian movie and Frakes is a very good actor and director. If I'm not mistaken, he directed Star Trek: First Contact.
"If you look to me for illumination, you better have a flashlight!"
He starred in First Contact, Insurrection, Generations, and Nemesis... All of which are Star Trek The Next Generation Movies... He Directed Both, Insurrection and First Contact as well as starred in them...

Frakes is pretty much doing the same thing Leonard Nimoy did... Did the acting bit for awhile but is now doing more of the behind the camera stuff than in front of it...
