Have you talked to Louie confirming that he threw the Note outside???

Ah ha! Have talked to Louie about everything coupe times but so far he makes no mention of any note that he threw outside. Since this is the very beginning of Day Three and take it the game is quite linear (?) this means I have left something undone?

Have been all over and talked to everyone, revisited sites just to see if I can do anything more so must have missed something along the way maybe?

The WT I have mentions a certain puzzle, one which I love to do, so do not want to use Nilo's game as I think it also solves it:(

Without playing through to that point of the game, I can't say for sure what will trigger the conversation where Louie says, "You'd Be Interested To Know He Was Just In Here, Had A Note, Tore It Up, It's Probably Still In The Garbage Outside."... Make sure you've talked to Rook about Sal, and Chelsea about Sal... Go into the Golden Gate Hotel as well... Ardo should say something about like "A Guy Told Me He Don't Like You Hangin' Around Here, He Gave Me Some Money To Keep You Out."... Something like that... That might be what Triggers the note at Louie's...

One more thing, make sure you have Everything you'll need for your Inspector Burns Costume... Make sure the Balloon is filled with Helium, I think that might be a common mistake for a lot of people... You should have already gotten the Fireman's coat out of the warehouse and the mask from Rusty's...

Ah ha that is one thing I have not done is go to the Hotel and talk to Ardo. I replayed day 2 and still could not get a right response from Louie so will try your suggestion and see how I make out. Also hope that opens the Pizza parlor.

The WT I consult when stuck mentioned nothing about the Golden Gate Hotel so feel I might have been misled there.

Am talking with Ardo but so far am getting nowhere. Humph! Will keep at it though. Do you know where I might find a WT that is more story line rather than just the bare elements of what to do?

This one I have I believe I downloaded from Nilo's ite - will have to check again. For their day three no mention is made of the hotel or Ardo; in fact it begins with the pizza parlor being opened and in my game it is not.

Going on vacation tomorrow and will be gone for two weeks - so when I get back will return to Tex and keep on keepin' on. Meanwhile if you come up with any good ideas do post for my return.

I'm assuming you've already been jumped by the chameleon and the statuette has been taken from you. At this point you should wake up in your office. Go straight to the pizza parlor and start talking to Francesca and ask her about the mugging. Once you do that, you have to make a deal with her to find out some dirt on Sal in order for her to give you any info about the mugging. After you agree, go straight to the Brew and Stew, ask Louie about the Mugging, then ask about Sal. Asking about Sal will trigger the cut scene where Louie tells you he was just in there and he left a note in the trash outside. Hope that helps.

OK will give this a try now about going straight to the pizza parlor to talk with the lady there. Back to let you know how I made out.

Ok went back to Eddie Chings secret room and played through again to Tex's office and then hustled him down to the Pizza parlor - it remains closed! Can't understand why! Have tried all sorts of things to get it to be open but so far NO go.

You have to Ask Chelsea about the Mugging, then ask Rook and Louie about the Mugging as well, you can even try asking Beek if you want, but I don't think he gives you any useful info...

I'm off to bed, hope you figure it out...

Have asked EVERBODY about everything and of course about the mugging. I must be missing something very simple or else it is something in my PC? Have not done something right am sure. But when return will plow into it again.

Did you ask Louie about Sal again?

A problem like that has nothing to do with the PC, you're right, you're missing something, probably very small detail somewhere...
Have you gone and Talked to Mac, not that I think he can help you at this time... Not sure what else to tell you...
