We're only halfway through the year but

...still, how many great people need to go push up daisies this year?

Stan Winston, special effects genius, and receiver of four oscars in his field, has died, 62 years old. He did the sfx in such films as Terminator 2, Aliens, and Jurassic Park.

2008. What a year. I hope something really good happens soon to balance some karma.

In this case shouldn't the phrase being something like, "Four Times! Do Not Pass The White Light, Go Directly To Hell... Roll Doubles To Get Out... :mrgreen:

Dammit, 2008.
I did some research, and I found that 2008 is the "Year of the Richards". By definition, the "Year of the Richards" is the year in which many well known celebrities that are liked by the media and by fans will die while Keith Richards (who defies science and the laws of life) will still go on living and collecting checks for his songs being used in commercials and films.
