Deviant Art launches interface version 6!!

http://www.deviantart.com/ ...check out out!

This introduction video to the new interface is pretty darn funny too: http://news.deviantart.com/article/52608/

While I liked v5, I am very impressed with v6, and after having a play around with it is actually very simple and intuitive to use.

All DA-ers should check it out!

Eh? It looks like the old one still!? Also there are some pretty stupid and obvious bugs in it (such as adverts disappearing when you click on stuff :D)

No doubt there are some new improvements however, I found getting use to ModDB V4 hard enough (especially with the stupid Name change.. we finally settled with ModDB again! thank god.. Gamecore sounded lame, blame Scott for that.)

Web2.0 though isn't all that great when you think about it, most of the websites are just interactive forums like DeviantArt, ModDB and Facebook.

Besides I don't need DeviantART now that I have my new company starting up soon.

You have to be logged in to see the new interface as they have not implemented it across the board yet... but now that I've just checked it looks as if they have fully implemented it throughout. Check it out.

Seems most of the changes are regarding organisation like control panels / inbox and browsing searches etc. So you may not notice much difference just looking at your DevArt page. It will take some getting used to I think (its quite an overload of content coming at you at one time compared to the previous version) but I like that the searches are going to be more clever etc.

What I like about the new change is that on a free account I can see thumbnails of Deviations (in my watchlist inbox)! Well I haven't looked at my Deviations Inbox in a long time so that may of been done before. If I ever get around to sorting through the 1,805 deviations piling up that should be useful.

If I haven't already said, congrats on your fantastic success on DevArt Cubase! Well deserved.

Oh, thanks! :D

...It does not really last long... but it's something I guess.

Thank you for all your wonderful comments!

Cub, you're too modest I think...
If it's something other people can't say, then it's something worth saying... Sometimes being Modest okay, but other times you should embrace the rewards your talents bring you...
