Feeling better? You certainly look good! I have to say, I'm liking the photo avatar thing. One of these days I'll have to take another pic. I dyed my hair blonde.

I'm tired actually so I'm heading to bed...

Today I'm tired. I have a mixture of good news and bad news.

Good news: I had a hella productive day work wise. I finally located a witness for a case and stuttered through a basic interview in spanish. Turned out the individual didn't know anything new to add (story of investigation).

Then I paid 16 dollars in copies of police reports and background checks so my co-apprentice and supervisor could have copies.

Then I dropped off a letter trying to track down another witness at a homeless shelter.

I put 38 miles on my car, and paid a total of $20 in expenses.

BAD NEWS: The university I'm at has accepted some insane number of new contracts for for students living on campus...so, for the first time in 3.5 years, I get to have a roomate. And it will be a complete stranger. (can you hear me gagging?)

Sigh...well, that's my day.

I'm in a good mood myself. Tomorrow I'll have a family get-together at my place. Parents, sisters and brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. A neighbour, an uncle, some friends. I'm looking foreward to that

Tired, to be honest

Today I'm meh.

We're gearing up for our Dream Cruise party this Saturday.

The Woodward Ave. Dream Cruise attracts nearly two million visitors and over 40,000 muscle cars, street rods, customs, collector and special interest vehicles. It takes place along a 16 mile stretch of Woodward Ave this Saturday. It is said to be the world's largest unsanctioned event.

My house is just off of Woodward Ave., so I have a Cruise party every year. I'll try to send some pics next week.
