Port forwarding/Firewall help!!!

I thought i would post this in here since Tex support is more for running a tex game.

Anyway, here is my problem. Hopefully someone can help me cause I can't seem to find a solution anywhere.

I am running utorrent and I port forwarded my netgear router to port 1720. This is because I have Rogers internet and they bottleneck the other ports for torrent use.

I am also running Zonealarm. The problem I have is that when I put the internet zone in stealth mode ie, High, I start getting tons of intrusion alerts from port 1720. As soon as I run uTorrent, they go away.

Turn it off and it starts accumilating them every second. This has been driving me nuts. I want it in High mode to offer the added protection but I don't want all these intrusion attempts.

If anyone can offer me help, this would be greatly appreciated... (please don't tell me to switch firewalls though. I prefer to continue using zonealarm.)

Best thing I could think of would be contact their customer service or tech support... There should be an option somewhere in preferences where you can choose what kind of alerts you get...
I don't use any of the programs you mentioned except Netgear, so I can't tell you where in the preferences this will be located...

Most of the time the intrusion alerts are causes by legitimate software performing port snooping actions on ports in which it is told to use. I get many many loged intrusion alerts on my router, even when it is not connected to the internet, and I boil it down to some software running on the computer. It does not effect performance at all so I leave it alone.

Unless you have you log readings patched directly into your head it should be okay to leave them.
