So long, blue eyes...

I've just read about the passing of Paul Newman. It comes to no surprise considering his health condition and age, but very much remains a sad news. He's had a long, and I believe happy life all things considered, and leaves us with an heritage that needs no description.
So long, blue eyes. Say hi to Steve for me.

Yeah, he was expected to pass... Lasted a lot longer than some predicted he would though... But all the same it's been a crummy year...

I think it's actually been a pretty nice year.

For you, maybe. But I'm referencing to the year 2008 as a year for losing famous entertainers. And in that regards, well, it's been pretty bleak.

And to think, we still have 3 months left to the year...
I wonder how many Entertainers, that are over the age of 65-70, are sitting home with their fingers crossed and curled up in the fetus position, praying to make it through the next 3 months...
Age of course doesn't have to be a factor in Death, but after a certain age things like organs can stop for no apparent reason, just because they are worn out...
I certainly hope we don't lose anymore for awhile... We've lost way too many this year as it is...

That we have. Let's hope it's a quiet winter.

I'm hoping for a Fierce Winter myself, I love the Snow... Nothing like volunteering to help take people work {like medical personnel, etc} and showing up at their door on a Snowmobile, the look on their face is Priceless...
I just want it to be a "Living" Winter...

It is a sad year indeed, Newman was amongst the classics.
The Verdict, Butch Cassidy & The Sundance King, The Sting...
It's kind of reminding me of 1997 where we had a lot of famous people passing on in that year too, very very famous too. Michael Hutchance, Princess Diana, John Denver and I think that was the year of the Port Arthur Massacre too.
