I drafted a web designer...for free :D... And we got to work on making the site not vomit inducing. I think we've done it. Along with a better look, we also have much better functionality. Take a look and tell me what you think. http://www.lfam.org

Nice design, scales well, passes the normal compatibility tests, and is clean and concise.

Well done!

It's simple and clean, which is the perfect environment for the type of content you are presenting. Since it is a "love of all things" it is not presumptuous in its style.

Also, it passes my rule that a website should have it's start page take no more than a screens length. I hate having to scroll down to see more navigation or other pertinent information. If it's important, it should be readily visible. This takes a little more than a page, on my monitor, but not a lot. So, I give it a "pass" on this test.

Very nice. Clean, simple, clear, understandable, direct, not visually "busy." All of this fits well with the subject matter.

My only complaint is the "curviness" of the Jefferson quote.

I think you might be right about that Gary. I've previously thought about it being a bit off, but got so busy with the rest of it forgot all about it. If anyone else thinks that sucks I might just tell him to straighten it out.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Glad you like it.

Like it, Freep.
Thumbs up. Interesting topic, by the way.

It is a interesting topic, agreed Jerry Dan. I, for one, have always held the opinion that I don't care what your faith is, nor if you even have one, as long as you've at least THOUGHT OUT what you believe in. I mean that for both people who believe in nothing, and those that cling to a religion verbatim. I think it's important to know where you stand, what makes sense for you, what you REALLY believe. If you do that, how can you be wrong, if it gives you peace of mind?

So, I dig the topic as well, even though it seems to only address those who do believe in something, but at the end of the day, isn't believing in "nothing" something? As long as you don't treat others like jerks, you're probably doing okay in life :D
