It's the Tuesday following the first Monday in November. That means today is the day to write in Stephen Colbert

Finally, it's only taken 2 years to get to this point... lol
So history is to be made today...
We either get our first Black President or we get our Oldest President ever to be Elected to a First Term and our first Female Vice President {which due to the Oldest remark will lead to our First Female President}...
Let the History Books be written...

FYI: Why do we vote on a Tuesday?
Answer: It's because of our agrarian past. When the USA was primarily a farming country, citizens needed travel time to go to the polling place: 1 day to, 1 day from. You had to rest, but more importantly so did the horses. Since Sunday was (is?) a religious day of rest, Tuesday was determined to be the day to vote: travel on Monday, vote on Tuesday, travel on Tuesday or Wednesday.
There's some trivia for you.

Obama made comments during his campaign that he would rather Elections be held on a Saturday or Sunday, so don't be surprised if our Election Day changes before the next Presidential Election...
