Like a Mad Max? Funny you should say that as there is currently a project in the works that borrows on such elements. I don't want to count my chickens before they've hatched, but I have never forgotten all those whom I promised some kind of involvement.

Take a look at the final seconds of Men At Work's music video for their song Down Under. Desert vista with a power pylon in the far background. I love that view.

It's so... Australia-ish.

Let me know if there's anything you need. My strengths are mainly within writing, plots, and finding and correcting logical flaws. (I'm a perfectionist when it comes to stories. Like a writer once said, reality can be strange, but fiction must always make sense.)

I also believe I have a decent vision for how scenes would play out, which is what I aim to put to the test next year when I direct my first film. Should be fun.

Now you know how it sounds!

That is, hands down, the most out-of-this-world, wacked-out, balls-to-the-wall insane $#it I've heard all week. Or maybe even month.

Three things: 1) How do you upload a soundfile, and what format do you upload in? Teach me and I will upload my own voice for your listening pleasure.

2) You have a sense of vision and immersion that appears in your performance. I like it. Also, you pace yourself well.

3) The critique: You have a dialect of english that takes over your performance slightly. And you mispronounced 'immensely'.

And as an aside, I'm deeply honored to have my writings chosen as subject matter in comparison to that of the original Fallout games.

So fess up Frankster! How do I get you to hear me the same way I just heard you?

As for the actual files, I'm really just goofing around. Always enjoyed doing some recordings for people, or random drunken singing performances

I'm constantly trying to hide the French accent, hence the dialect you mentioned, or whatever it is that overpowers the rest.

I couldn't help but do some Fallout after recording parts of your writing. A perfect fit for the mood

It's what I do. But then again, english is my second language and I've had practice with several dialects. I can only imagine how hard it would be when english is your main language.

And don't give me the whole French Canada thing, you know you speak more english daily than I do

Wow Frank, that was really impressive! Your voice has come a long way since those original Tex Murphy narrations you did about 6 years ago... very well matured and seasoned. One of the hardest things to have in a voiceover is the sound of 'experience'... what I mean by that is: when you listen to a voice like Morgan Freeman's you can almost feel the world experience (not so much voice-over experience) in his voice and that no matter what the subject, it feels like you're listening to someone who has seen it all and is reflecting on the things they have experienced. I think you have developed that well in your voice, as it seems to have that sort of strength. You just need an awesome mic to bring out those low tones in you voice that I can't quite hear at the moment.

I'd love to hear some more. And Fred, upload some of your stuff too!

Never really tried to "replace" the accent by another one. Unless I'm exposed to someone with a really peculiar talking style, then I end up unconsciously impersonating it. I haven't been punched in the face for it so far!

The only real English I speak daily is to order food or buy stuff. We actually DO speak French in the French part of the country Although I'll say, spending a lot of time downtown helps with the English.

Cub, thanks a bunch for the comments. And yeah, the mic is even worse than the one I had for about 10 years, it came standard attached to one of the monitors! I never really got around to looking for a quality one. I usually record silly stuff, so it wasn't a priority.
