Nostalgic childhood memories

As the title suggests, this is one of those things that christmas is for. At least, I think so.

Here's a few links to a russian/romanian/french production from 1976 (Yes, that's an unlikely set of partners, but hey, I'm not complaining!)

This is a musical called Rock'n Roll Wolf (in english, the russian version was called Ma-Ma and the Rumenian version... who knows?) and it's about Titi Suru the Wolf, and Goat Mother ms. Rada and her children. It's based on one of the Brothers Grimm's fairy tales about the wolf and the seven baby goats, set in a rock musical. Still, the music is completely mindblowing for such a production, and the Moscow Ballet does an astonishing job!

And, of course, it's something I saw as a very, very young boy. Hence the nostalgia.

Still, I wanted to share this with you. The music does have a weird, christmassy feel to it. Especially "Mother's Home", the theme music.

Enjoy!

PS: Please excuse the norwegian subtitles :D
