New Site and Images

Well it's been a few days and I must say I have been looking around the site and seeing a great potential for. I must say kudos to you James good work! I especially like the section where we can add our own images. I have a question though, where are they all stored? Is it locally on the server for this site? I mean if we upload a glut of Tex imagery will it crash the site? Could that not be a bad thing?

The reason I am asking is that a while back I proposed a Tex poster contest (which I still intend to do) but I ran into a snag when I realized that there is not many screen shots for the games. Having this section eliminates a whole lot of issues for that contest. Everyone can post their Tex images here for everyone to access for the contest so it's perfect However if I put in the request to upload as many pics as possible I am worried that it could harm the site.

Another question I have is a question I asked before (via video) but I thought I'd refresh everyone's memory. Is there a way to embed YouTube videos for all to see rather than just a link? I don't know if it's a complicated task or not but it SEEMS simple but I am most likely wrong. I am only asking because I have should have some things to show in the near future for all to see and figured this would be the easiest way to show everyone.

Anyway I am going on and on again but I'd just like to say awesome job James and I dig the new layout for the site. Good work buddy!

James had a video in the thread below, not a link...

Is it just a perk that the Admin can do or is it something the rest of us could do??? That wasn't a youtube video, but the process should be about the same, right???

Youtube provides an embed code to copy and paste videos on sites or messageboards. it should be directly below, or near, the regular link.

Embedding videos varies from site to site for 2 reasons. 1. A message board simply doesnt have the capability for it. 2. The admin wont allow it.
