Well deserved, in my opinion!

Heath Ledger got the Oscar for Best Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his part as the Joker in The Dark Knight.

I agree. Also, I do NOT believe for one minute the oscar was given because he is no longer with us. To the contrary, he deserved it!!!

BTW, I LOVED the entire program! HJ was incredible, singing, dancing, performing in all ways. A refreshing change from so many past presentations.

yeah I was really impressed by the way he did The Joker, the best thing about The Dark Knight I think was that you really did feel The Joker was a crazy leering psycho who could snap into a homicidal range at any second and got his kicks out of freaking/weirding other people out.
