Leaving (not on a jetplane however)

I'm going for a trip this weekend, to beautiful Scotland. Going to visit some friends of mine, have a fun time and generally relax my butt off. Been working a lot lately, so this should be great!

There will be pictures when I get home.

Also, haggis!

You know, jetplane is a funny word. There's nothing special about it, but it's needlessly long and redundant, in an almost comical sophistication.

It's like Sammy Davis Jr saying the word automobile, or that guy in Bullit asking "Hey who are you talking to about me on the telephone".

You don't hear that anymore. So many contractions.

Hahaha! Haggis gets a bad rep. If you ignore the parts it's made of, what's left is a well-tasting spicy meatpie thing served with mashed potatoes and some kinda sauce on top. At least that's my description from a friend who went last year, so I'm looking forward to it.

However I should definitely post a pic of myself in a kilt when I get home :D

Yeah Haggis is some good eatin' if you don't think about exactly what it is... It's an acquired taste as well... Kind of like Escargot, very good eating, but an Acquired taste for most...

Norway holds a world record in fewest people per square kilometer overall. I think it's something like one norwegian per four square kilometers? Not quite sure, but we're pretty far apart some places. Lots of open space. Rocky, mountainous open space, but still :D

Hahaha, that reminds me of the time I was O/S for some reason, and the Cab driver (forget where it was) asked where we were from. We of course said Australia, and he replied "Really, so you much know Mel Gibson!?" ... I felt like saying "yeah man, totally... being the secluded island community, we like to hang out at the only cafe in the country".
