Hey everyone!

2 days ago exactly I stepped out of a plane in Hamburg, Germany after leaving Cairns in Australia 40 hours prior. That's quite a long trip I might add. 4 times take-off and 4 times landing (apparantly) as the trip went as follows:

Cairns > Sydney
Sydney > Singapore
Singapore > London
London > Hamburg

A month has passed for me and my fiancée in the wonderful country Down Under, and we did A LOT of cool stuff while there. We climbed the Harbour Bridge in Sydney, went seakayaking in Byron Bay, handfed kangaroos and dolphins, cuddled a koala, snorkelled the Great Barrier Reef AND Tangalooma Ship Wrecks, went to the outback (Ayer's Rock and more) and relaxed a lot. Many awesome things which I will never forget.

On our 3rd day In Australia we even met up with the Cubster before leaving Sydney to explore the country.

Nice trip, but you missed Australia's best city - Melbourne, home to Vegemite, Neighbours, Shane Warne, Dame Edna, John Farnham, Eric Bana and yours truly

Yeah, we really did have a great time down there. It's a trip I will remember for a VERY long time - that's for sure! I can't wait to get started with the video, we shot while there. Have to edit it a bit as I'm not sure people are interested in sitting for 80 minutes watching a lot of loooong scenes


Joel: Yeah, I know we missed out on Melbourne. You list the plane trip in your reply, so we did get to see a whole lot more of Australia than that. You can actually see the entire trip on the website under the menu-headline "Etape-oversigt" (meaning "Stage overview". Stage is to be understood as stages in for example Tour De France).

But anyway - I'm not sure how cool it is to "brag" about being home of Vegemite (never tasted it though but I didn't like the smell of it - sorry )

Also - seeing as how the Victorian Bush Fires were at their highest while we were there, then I'm kinda glad we didn't go to Victoria. Our family and friends were worried about us enough already, so if we had been close to the fires, they would have freaked out I think
