New to the board

Hi All,
I'm a new guy to the board - found this great place while surfing the WEB, looking for any Tex related info. Needless to say I was excited to find it! I've been a Tex fan since Access Software came out with the Tex Murphy series back in the mid-nineties. I've read some of the General and Tex Support posts, and I have to say that I'm truly impressed with what I've read. And I'm looking forward to many return visits.

Jim the old guy: are you the same "Jim the old guy" from AOL's (old) game message board of the late 90's ? What a nice surprise if it is you!

Nilo
Hello! Welcome to the forum. Glad you could join us and are having fun already. I hope you have a lot more fun here. See you around! :D

Welcome, welcome there Nilo. You're not alone. I only found this place about a month ago myself, and to be quite honest, I really thought I might be the only person alive who enjoyed these Tex Murphy games, and still have time for them. This place is truly is wonderful, and proved me wrong. Great people, great atmosphere, and the most intelligent conversation this side of a scientific community (even if I don't half understand a lot of it sometimes :-) ) Oh yeah, and the most amazing aspect ... Aaron Conners posts here from time to time to keep us updated on the status of possibly a new Tex Adventure ... Again, welcome to the board.

Also, if you haven't already (I'm guessing you found the forum through it), check out the new Website that James put up recently. Truly remarkable and state of the art, and a living monument to everybody's hero!
I'm not fat ... I'm festively plump.
Welcome to our little club, Nilo.

Welcome, Nilo! Yep! That was me then and it's me now - the old guy getting older and buying Geritol by the case.

Hey! What ever happened to Mikey? Remember him? He was soooo helpful with hints for the Tex games.

At any rate, it's good to see you're still interested in Tex Murphy.

Glad you could join us, Nilo. Bask in our unrelenting joy of Tex, perhaps to the point of madness.
