Do you think this community will ever reach 1,000 members?

We'll make it, without doubt... Especially after 3 Cards take off and more of this Project Fedora is leaked out...

Hard to say. There's lots of people who simply lurk. I was one of them for years.

The older EZ board had more, but not everyone signed up here.

Didn't we have well over that number before this board was restructured? I thought the petition drive came up with almost 4,000 names. Course, those were names on the petition, not actual members.

It seems to me, correct me if I'm wrong, that 3-4 years ago--maybe even sooner--we celebrated 1000 members.

I could of swore I remembered a topic stating as such!

I think litlkeck may be right. I checked my link to the old board, and saw that it had 1288 members total. But that post was probably celebrated on the old board if it happened at all .

But I think that it is possible. With the exposure of 3CTM, some old fans will start Googleing and find us and join the conversation.And plus it might bring some lurkers like me to start posting more. Who knows? Later.

Good point, Sowden. If this site attracted more people because of TCM, then all the better for Tex.

I must admit that i'm in the minority who is actually comfortable with the member count being under 1000. It's a tight, cosy community. As with my experience with other forums, the quality company tends to decline with fresh faces.

Guilty lurker here...guilty because I know it's posters that make this work. I am a long time lurker devoted to the site and entertained by all the posters here. I've learned a lot and laughed a lot and once the new game (s) come out, will probably post more. Just consider me the shy wallflower sitting behind the potted plant and smiling.
