I just wanted to take a moment to introduce a GREAT indie "colleague" of CJ and AC: Dave Gilbert. He made himself a name with his short games "The Shivah" , "Blackwell Legacy" and "Blackwell Unbound", then he released his biggest title so far a couple of months ago (in cooperation with the Casual platform PlayFirst): Emerald City Confidential ( a combination of noir and Wizard of Oz motives). Next month it will be time for the next Blackwell game: The Blackwell Convergence.
I started dealing with his work a couple of months ago and i absolutely love what he does, plus i think chances are high that quite some of you might appreciate his work a lot too.
All of his games have got a heavy noir influence, combined with great dialogue writing and some very charming characters and no matter what game you play, a very intensed and impressing atmosphere (no surprise, since Dave is a huge Gabriel Knight fan
). I´ll add some screenshots at the end of this posting, but for now you can get some information about his work(and purchase options) on the website of his company "Wadjet Eye Games". http://www.wadjeteyegames.com/ Plus, i did kind of an introduction interview, where you can find out a little more about him (what a great guy!): http://www.adventurecorner.de/pages.php?id=326

It´s really an interesting discovery that some of the best writers of the adventuregenre (DG, AC, Jonathan Boakes) seem to "hide" in the indie scene, while qzite lot of the major titles offer writing efforts that... well, you know what i mean.
No surprise, he became one of [c]the[/c] stars of the indie scene. Absolutely worth supporting and if you like to, feel free to check him out, you won´t be disappointed.
