A friend of mine asked me what I thought this might mean... I can't come up with anything... I figured maybe someone here might have seen this before or might be good at figuring these kinds of things out...

Where did he see it/find it?

I don't know, I sent him a message asking, I haven't heard back from him yet...

I already tried putting it through Google, nothing came back, so I'm guessing it's not an internet thing...

I looks like the result of what comes up on the phone when you type something thinking predictive text is on, but accidentally left it off. I often send code messages to my friends in this fashion. I no longer have a normal phone to try my theory out with, as my current one has a Qwerty keyboard and not a keypad, but it might be worth trying out different phone based text combinations like that.

DSNK I've seen before, but I can't remember where.

I assume it is phone/txt talk as well, but I don't txt in this fashion, I spell all my stuff out... The basics I know, like UR {your}, CUTHR {See You There}, etc... I don't use them myself, like I said I type it out, but this looks to be quite elaborate...
I'm thinking that he found this on one of his kid's phone and wants to know what it is without confronting the kid over it... I'm just assuming, I still haven't heard back from him yet...

It may be some kind of cipher code, but the numbers and punctuation marks seem to rule that out. After running a few cipher techniques through the code it did come up with some interesting words:

abides
abided
kimono
fags
guyana
am
befit
chimp
calf
grunt
do

...these were all produced without the punctuation markers.

Do these words mean anything to you within the context of what you think the message is about?

Not really... I suspect until I hear back from him that it is something he found on his kid's phone... None of that stuff sounds like something kids would be trying to hide or get away with...

The 50 could be the slang for Police and the DSNK could stand for Doesn't know... Something the Police Don't know??? The 10 at the end could mean a time, 10 o'clock...

I'd be worried if a message from a friend to you contained the words chimp and grunt in the same sentence. Especially as you're not a zookeeper!
